Open-source local design workspace powered by coding agents

OpenDesign is an open-source, desktop-native design workspace for creating prototypes, landing pages, slide decks, dashboards, design systems, marketing images, and HTML video. It uses coding agents that run on the user’s machine and produces real, runnable files that can be previewed and edited in a sandbox.
The workspace can read local files, Figma exports, and code repositories, with terminal-execution access for connected agents. Users can set a visual direction, apply palettes, typography, and spacing through design systems, then export work for engineering or turn it into a marketing video with HyperFrames.
OpenDesign is available under the Apache-2.0 license and supports bring-your-own-key access to 21+ coding agents. The site presents it as a local tool with data staying on-device and offers a desktop download.
