This policy explains what VibeHacker collects and how it is used.
What we collect
- Account data: email, username, display name, and a password hash. If you sign in with GitHub, we receive your GitHub email, name, and avatar.
- Content you post: tools, reviews, posts, comments, reactions, and profile details. These are public.
- Activity: upvotes, stars, follows, quest progress, and points. Some of this is shown on your public profile.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, and basic request logs, kept for security and debugging.
How we use it
To run the site, show your content to others, calculate rankings and quests, send notifications you have opted into, and keep the service safe.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not show third-party ads. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and a preference cookie for your theme. No tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can edit your profile and delete your content at any time. You can request a copy of your data or deletion of your account by emailing [email protected].
