Bionic is a real agent now, not a chat window. Runs GLM 5.2 on the 4090 at a speed I can live with. The UI is still cluttered and every update moves a button. Works, though, and everything stays on my machine.

LM Studio
A local agent for work, creativity, and code

About LM Studio
Bionic is LM Studio’s agent for open models, designed for creating and editing documents, slides, PDFs, and software. It supports coding tasks, automations, and computer control.
The app can run local LLMs downloaded directly within LM Studio, using the LM Studio runtime with MLX and llama.cpp. It also supports frontier open models such as GLM 5.2, Kimi K3, and DeepSeek V4 Pro for demanding tasks.
Bionic includes real-time voice transcription with support for multiple languages. Voice and audio data is processed locally, while LM Studio’s cloud services use Zero Data Retention.
