Claude Cowork

Claude Cowork lets you hand off tasks by describing a goal. It works across selected files and tools, can open a built-in browser for web tasks, and returns work such as decks, documents, spreadsheets, or research for review.

It is designed for people who want to delegate multi-step work while staying in control. Claude shows the files, tools, and decisions involved, and tasks can be redirected as they run.

Cowork can continue working when your laptop is closed, run scheduled tasks on a daily, weekly, or monthly cadence, and split larger projects into concurrent chunks. It is available through desktop apps for macOS, Windows, ChromeOS, and Linux, with web and mobile access rolling out. A paid plan is required.
