Still the default for drafting, brainstorming, and messy first passes. GPT-5 era quality is strong on long docs; Custom GPTs save me from re-prompting the same workflows. Occasional overconfidence on niche APIs, so I still verify code elsewhere.

Use it daily for product copy and customer emails. Projects/memory finally feel sticky enough for a small team. Voice mode is fun but not where I do real work. Worth Plus if you live in chat.
Great generalist, weak when you need strict citations. I bounce to Perplexity for research and keep ChatGPT for rewriting and ideation. Canvas helps for longer pieces.
Solid, but the vibe-coder crowd moved hard to IDEs. For pure chat and multimodal dumps it is still unmatched. Image gen quality jumped; coding answers are hit-or-miss vs Cursor.
My astra is so dumb!!
