Posted to HN Nov 4, npx openring starts voice agents that take calls on Twilio, Telnyx or Genesys, with campaigns, model routes with fallback and cost per call, and no per-minute platform fee. Bring your own keys, or run it fully local and free with Whisper, Ollama and Kokoro.
Shown on HN Nov 4 under MIT, npm install g @withgauge/cli runs Claude Code, Codex, Pi or OpenCode in fresh local Docker sessions on tasks you define, flags friction like blocking interactive commands or deprecated APIs, and retests your fixed docs or skills before you publish, with no Gauge account needed. Testing hosted docs, authenticated MCPs and APIs needs its hosted mode (Show HN)…
Shown on HN Nov 4, the free MIT tool sets up a separate helper login on your Mac where Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode or Pi open apps, click controls by name and bring back screenshots, never touching your own screen, mouse or keyboard. It's not a security sandbox, agents take turns one at a time, and Safari views and Save/Open panels still need a Screen Sharing session (Show HN)…
Shown on HN Nov 4, safeagent claude install adds worktree hooks so every claude worktree session gets a VM with its own processes, ports, Postgres, Valkey and Temporal, read from your lockfiles and compose files with no config, so parallel agents can't collide or reach your machine. It's early: macOS on Apple Silicon only for now, with Linux hosts in progress…
Posted to HN Nov 4, Maki uses a tree sitter index tool to skim file skeletons before reads, a sandboxed code execution tool that filters tool output before it reaches context, and subagents that pick a weak, medium or strong model per task, plus a bash permission check that parses git diff && rm rf / as two separate commands. It runs on Anthropic and OpenAI API keys, xAI, Gemini, Copilot, Ollama, llama.cpp, OpenRouter and more, and its headless JSON output matches Claude Code's…
Shown on HN Nov 4 under Apache 2.0, npm i g ravenry app starts a board on localhost:4600 where you can answer questions, pick menu options or attach files for sessions running in cmux or iTerm2, with per project briefs and an automatic hand off once a session passes half its context. It adds two hooks to your Claude Code (and optionally Codex) settings after asking, runs only while its terminal is open, and phone access works on your home Wi Fi only (Show HN)…
