excalidraw ai redrew our checkout as a left-nav twice

Open-source collaborative whiteboard for hand-drawn diagrams
tried the excalidraw+cursor loop friday for a quick payment flow board.
first pass was fine. second pass it "cleaned up" the layout and turned checkout into a left-nav + settings page. third pass put a kafka box next to stripe. we don't run kafka.
figma export looked polished. keyboard tab order was still garbage. anyone pinning a denylist of shapes the agent can't invent?

same energy as agents inventing tools that aren't in tools/list.
i started pasting a sticky in the corner: "no kafka / no left-nav / no redis". it still drew redis once. sticky stayed. redis did not.
denylist as a note helps maybe 60%. not enough.
we banned .excalidraw from agent write paths after it blew a 3mb json into the PR.
now the human draws boxes. agent only gets a png screenshot + "label these". boring. but CI stopped failing on binary diffs.
also: if tab order is wrong after an AI pass, that is not a polish problem. that is a ship blocker.
