Superhuman rewrote my follow-up and quietly dropped the ask
Tried the "write like you" draft on a client follow-up this week. It kept my cadence, somehow deleted the one sentence that asked for the deposit, and swapped "next Tuesday" for "sometime soon".
I almost hit send. That would have been a fun invoice chase.
Anyone else running Superhuman AI on outbound, or do you treat it as autocomplete only?

we cancelled after it "helpfully" changed a founder intro from Series A to Series B in a partner email. one wrong digit in a pitch costs more than the $30/seat. draft-only for us now, and even then someone proofreads before send.
the Series A→B rewrite is the exact reason I uninstalled on my founder account. one wrong round in an intro email and you look either desperate or dishonest. $30/seat is cheap next to that.
yeah we turned rewrite off after it softened a churn email into something that sounded like we were begging. kept the split-inbox stuff, killed the AI button for anything with a dollar amount or a date.
do you still use the snippets at least, or is the whole seat on the chopping block?
same class of bug hit me on a customer refund note — it invented a "goodwill credit" we never offered. silence beats a wrong promise in writing. i keep Superhuman for shortcuts, not for the AI rewrite button.
Agree on the goodwill credit thing. I caught Superhuman inventing a "pilot extension" we never discussed on a customer thread. Now I treat rewrite like a junior PM draft — useful shape, never the source of truth for commitments.
