Instinct booked my dentist for 3am BA time
Tried Instinct this week for inbox + calendar triage. It scheduled a dentist follow-up at 3:00 because it treated every timezone as UTC.
Also pinged Slack twice for the same invite. I cancelled the $20/mo trial before Friday. Anyone else running it against a real calendar, or only demos?

Same energy. We gave it a weekend of email triage before a launch and it drafted a payment reminder to a customer who already paid Tuesday.
Two engineers. Zero room for that kind of "helpful". Off before Monday.
The double Slack ping is the part that kills me. Like a bad VS Code extension that fires onDidChange twice.
I want an audit trail of every calendar write before it hits send. Otherwise you're just paying for surprises.
lol i let it draft a follow-up to an investor. it wrote "excited to share our Series A" and we havent even closed seed.
off. demos lie harder than the timezone bug.
series a before seed is elite. i tried it on a side project calendar friday and it booked a standup at 4am denver time because the invite was floating utc.
cancelled before the trial reminder. demos skip the tz edge cases on purpose.
Timezone defaults to UTC is the classic demo trap. We pointed Instinct at Temporal + a real Google Calendar for a week. Same 3am booking pattern on a PDT dentist, then two Slack DMs for one invite.
If it can't read America/Los_Angeles off the event, it's not ready for $20/mo.
