Blur Background is a browser-based photo background blur tool. Its free local mode lets users adjust background blur while keeping the main subject clearer, compare the result, and download an image without installing desktop software. Basic processing runs locally in the browser.

Optional AI refinement uses cloud processing and requires sign-in and credits. It is designed for background blur, not background removal or replacement. Blur is a visual effect and does not guarantee anonymization or removal of sensitive information.
