Wodby Agent adds built-in coding and ops chats to Wodby, running on GLM 5.3 with shared AI credits

Workspace chats can edit the dev checkout, run commands, and read service logs (asking before Git pushes by default, with optional approvals for shell, web, and platform changes), while organization chats propose stacks, flag EOL service versions, and dig into failed deploys. It bills against one-time org AI credits ($5 on the Developer plan, $10 with a paid subscription), and Wodby also opened the same dev workspaces to Codex and Claude Code (docs).

Official MCP reference servers hit v2.0.0 on the 2026-07-28 spec, and now need Node 24

The filesystem, memory, sequential thinking, and everything servers move to TypeScript SDK v2 and the 2026 07 28 spec while still answering older clients, and the Python fetch, git, and time servers ( 2026.10.19 ) now return a JSON RPC 32602 error for unknown tools instead of an isError result. The TypeScript servers require Node 24 or later, and v1.0.0 (Oct 11) was the final legacy era release, so pin it if you can't upgrade yet…

MiniMax M3.1 Flash goes GA at $0.15/$0.60 per million tokens, with open weights promised later

MiniMax says the agent and coding model, which ran anonymously as "Space Bunny" and served over 200 trillion tokens, is nearly 3x faster than its predecessor (170+ tokens/sec median) and cuts agentic task cost by 70%, with a 1M token context and text, image, and video input. It's live now on the MiniMax API (OpenAI and Anthropic compatible), M Plan, and MiniMax Code, with weights and a bigger Pro model due later…

Appwrite's MCP server now pushes project events to agents, from failed functions to new signups

Agents can subscribe to six events at launch (new users, failed function executions, finished function and site deployments, new rows, and uploaded files) and get them over an open stream locally or as signed webhooks, so a "tell me when the deploy finishes" request no longer needs polling. It implements the proposed MCP Events extension (SEP 3415), each subscription is just an Appwrite webhook created with your OAuth token, and payloads carry IDs and metadata only (changelog)…

Builders are pointing Claude Code at their smart TVs to strip ads, tracking, and bloatware

Projects like dumbtv and cleanyourtv let you aim a coding agent at an Android TV, Google TV, or Fire TV over Wi Fi to remove sponsored ads, disable ACR viewing tracking, and swap in a clean launcher, with no root needed and factory reset still possible. They're works in progress being tested across Sony, TCL, Xiaomi, Hisense, and others, so expect rough edges before you try it on the family TV…
