GitLab Orbit goes GA, a lifecycle context graph that Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode can query over MCP

Announced Oct 29, Orbit links code, merge requests, work items, pipelines and vulnerabilities into one auto-updating graph that respects existing permissions, and GitLab says agents using it hit up to 45x fewer hallucinations and 4.5x fewer tokens in its own tests. It's GA for Premium and Ultimate on GitLab.com now, sold as shared query packs with a free 30-day trial, with Self-Managed and Dedicated following in the coming weeks.

Adversa AI launches a runtime security platform that blocks risky coding-agent action chains

Generally available Oct 29, it watches what Claude Code, Codex, Copilot and Cursor do through an LLM/MCP gateway, harness hooks and an endpoint sensor, links the steps into a behavior graph, and blocks a dangerous chain (say, a malicious skill reading secrets and then exfiltrating them) before the last step runs. Teams can start in observe only mode, and Adversa reports a 0.2 ms median blocking decision at one financial institution deployment (product page)…

Claude for Legal adds a gallery of shareable artifacts for contract review, cite checks and intake

Launched Oct 28, the gallery includes ready to use interactive tools like tabular contract review, cite check, jurisdiction survey matrix and a playbook deviation board, each opening with example data and linking every output to its source; teams can tailor them with their own documents and 60+ legal connectors and share them with ethical wall controls. Partner artifacts include Harvey Intake, which routes business users' legal requests from Claude to lawyers in Harvey over MCP (Harvey)…

Hyperset opens a private beta that lets coding agents cite what your app actually did at runtime

Announced Oct 26, Hyperset attaches to local Node.js, Python and Go apps through their native debuggers with no SDK, records arguments, return values and exceptions into a local ring buffer, and lets its own agent or Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and Pi cite those records while debugging (Cursor isn't supported yet). Access is limited to accepted testers, with a seven day free trial and automatic change verification still in development…
