Atlassian launches Rovo Work for hours-long agent tasks and an Artifacts app with permanent URLs

Announced Oct 6 at Team '26 Europe as part of its new Agentic Multiplayer Protocol, Rovo Work is a Rovo Chat mode that proposes a plan you edit, then runs for hours across Jira, Confluence, and connected tools in an admin-governed sandbox. The new Artifacts app gives plans and HTML views made by any AI tool permanent, permission-checked URLs you can embed in Confluence, Jira, or Slack, and Jira agent sessions now link local and cloud agent runs back to their work items.

Liquid AI open-sources d1-3B, a decision model that answers in 8 ms on an RTX 4090 with zero output tokens
