Anthropic resumes billing Claude safeguard blocks in three categories

Anthropic is charging again for Claude API requests blocked before any output in biology, frontier LLM development, and reasoning extraction—categories with under 0.1% false positives—to deter coordinated circumvention. Cyber and other refusals stay unbilled; Anthropic says 99.7% of Claude Code, Claude.ai, and Cowork users won't notice.
