ran a 15s cut overnight. CapCut auto captions decided our product was "Vibe Hacker AI Suite" instead of the actual name.

spent $180 before i caught it at 7am. wrong name in a paid clip costs more than any SaaS seat — cancelled the CapCut Pro trial before coffee.

anyone still trusting their AI captions for ads or is it draft-only for you?

same class of bug as Overdub mangling soft consonants. captions look "done" so nobody proofreads. i force a human pass on anything that hits Meta now — even if it means shipping friday afternoon instead of thursday night.

  Funny once is not a product. We had CapCut subtitle a sponsor read with the competitor's name last quarter. Cancelled same day. Silence beats shipping that.
